Free Things To Be Sure and See While in Las Vegas
There are many things to do in Las Vegas other than gamble. The following are just some of the entertainment possibilities for you and your family that are free (at least to get in).
1. M & M store on Las Vegas Blvd. between MGM Grand and the Hawaiian Market Place. Next door to the M & M store is the “Coke Bottle”, where you can purchase show tickets at a discount for the same day performance.
2. The Lion habitat at the MGM Grand; best time is around 11:00 am when lions are being let out.
3. The Fountains at the Bellagio – every 30 minutes; starts 3:00 pm on weekdays, 12 pm on weekends.
4. The Conservatory; fabulous floral display changed six times a year inside the Bellagio Hotel.
5. The Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace. There is a moving and talking statues at the center fountain that have hourly performance.
6. The Shoppes and the Courtyard at the Venetian Hotel and Casino.
7. The Fremont Street Experience downtown. A laser and music show nightly on the hour until midnight.
8. The volcano show at the Mirage; every 15 minutes starting at 6:30 pm.
9. The Sirens and sinking of the ship at Treasure Island.
10. The waterfall at the Wynn Resort across from the Fashion Mall.
11. The Fashion Mall a great place to stroll.
12. Quarks at the Hilton International.
13. Thunderstorm in the mall around Planet Hollywood & Casino; every 30 minutes beginning 11 am.
14. Daily performance at a stage area in the mall around Planet Hollywood & Casino; next to La Salsa Cantina Restaurant.
15. The Float parade at the Rio Hotel and Casino; every hour starting at 4:00 pm.
